Jay Conlin is an HR Executive with a Fortune 100 Company. Using his 25 plus years experience in HR and Labor Relations, Jay helps companies and individuals successfully navigate through complex employee relations situations. By focusing on simplifying the complex he is able to help companies and individuals better understand the business impact "people" decisions have on their bottom line.
His experience is vast and he has now started adding life design and improvement work to his expanding influence with a heavy focus on the power of setting goals.
While originally an HR generalist he eventually gravitated towards responsibility for Labor Relations and contract negotiations. Throughout his career he has negotiated well over 200 labor agreements. He has worked in various industries including construction, manufacturing, electronics and consumer products.
Jay is the Author of a two books on negotiations, HR Topics including resume writing and recently turned his popular Blog The Middle Seat into three e-books which humorously detailed his frequent business trips.
He is considered an expert on Labor Relations and is a frequent panel member for Labor Relations issues as well as negotiations in general. He started his career in St. Louis and made stops in Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, and Michigan. He currently resides in Pennsylvania.
